1. Enhanced Performance and Reliability
2. Lower Total Cost of Ownership (TCO)
3. Security and Isolation
4. Faster Support
We’ve designed the migration process to be as smooth and seamless as possible:
1. Will I lose any functionality by moving to SaaS?
Not at all! In fact, you’ll gain new features like automatic scaling and self-healing while keeping all the capabilities you already rely on.
2. What’s the cost of migration?
There’s no additional cost if you’re paying standard pricing — it’s included as part of your subscription.
3. How long will the migration take?
Most migrations can be completed within 1 week, depending on the complexity of your setup.
4. How do updates work with SaaS?
We handle all updates, ensuring your system stays current. Dev environments receive updates first for testing, followed by QA and Prod environments.
3. How secure is Curator SaaS
We prioritize your data security with isolated namespaces and robust policies. Learn more on our Data and Security page.

Recently, Tableau has been encouraging the use of connected apps for external applications, instead of using trusted tickets. All of Tableau’s recent embedding features require connected apps. Since this only deals with behind the scenes authentication, there is no impact to the end user. In our effort to remain closely aligned with Tableau, Curator is transitioning to only using connected apps.
Curator has added the feature to be able to send mark commenting data to a webhook. With the widespread use of API integration platforms, this really opens the doorway to virtually unlimited use cases.
